Everybody was kung fu fighting

20 weeks - Thanks for the cute shirt, Amy!!

A few days ago, while laying in bed and watching TV, I felt my stomach twitch. It felt like a muscle twitch, but was really low - about 2-3 fingers below my belly button. After freezing and having to remember to breathe, I felt it again. I felt three little twitches before it stopped.

The next day the same thing happened -- then again the day after that. Now, as I sit and type this post, I'm twitching again -- only I'm pretty sure it's not twitching... could this be baby?!

Today's weekly update (week 21!) said it might feel like baby is practicing martial arts in there. It's true. This is the first time I've been able to feel him move during the day. Sara, my BFF, says he might be a mini ninja.

I didn't know what to expect when baby started kicking, but I figured I'd at least be able to recognize when it was baby. This is all so new and nothing like I expected it to be... but I'm still REALLY excited about it. I can't wait until Jamer will be able to feel this too.

Isn't it COOL? I remember my first little "twitches" like it was yesterday! I think the freezing is the clue...it's like you KNOW this is different!

So sweet Jackie! Just remember these cute twitches when he's trying to punch and kick his way out in a couple of months when you're trying to sleep....Doesn't matter, it's pretty awesome.
