Minnesota Brass Inc. you may take the field in competition...
Last week Zach attended his first drum corps show in South Saint Paul. It was really hot and humid, but Zach didn’t mind. He loves being outside.
We sat on a hill in the shade of a big tree as the groups performed. When Jamer and Minnesota Brass took the field we cheered and hit Zach’s hands together as a way of clapping for his daddy. Unfortunately, Zach was more interested in the tree above (and the leaves blowing in the breeze) than watching the performances. He smiled, squealed and kicked his legs in delight as he felt the grass on his feet for the first time and watched that big tree.
After the show, we tried to take some pictures of Zach and Jamer together, but Zach wasn’t having it (see pictures). Apparently the metal of a drum and harness aren’t exactly the most comfortable things to cuddle up to.
