27 weeks!

My hair has grown a good few inches since week 14 when I chopped it.

Baby rode a roller coaster this weekend when Mom (that's me) got a stomach virus on Sunday. Think first trimester sickness and multiply it by 5 million - that's how I felt. Baby was loving it. Every time Mommy got sick, baby started kicking like crazy.

Not all was lost. I got to go shopping with "Grandma Burke," which was fun. It was fun to get to show someone (other than Jamer) all the stuff I was registering for. :)

Baby continues to kick, kick, kick and I think I can now tell the difference between kicks and hiccups - only because hiccups are lighter and more rhythmic than the random kicks. I can officially see my tummy move when the baby kicks too, although no one else has noticed it.

This week baby weighs almost 2 lbs. - or the same as a head of cauliflower.
