My baby boy!

After two weeks of being a mommy, I finally have a minute to sit down and introduce Zachary James Grumish.

The new love of my life was forced into this world at 11:09 p.m. on Sunday, June 27, after several treatments and procedures failed to coax him out on his own. He weighed 9 lbs., 11 oz. when he was born and just under 9 lbs. when we left the hospital (apparently it's common for babies to lose up to 10% of their total weight just after birth). Today, at almost two weeks old, he's gained everything back and weighs 9 lbs., 12 oz.

I'll do my best to continue updating this blog, but until we get in some sort of routine, it might be pretty sporadic - bare with me.
